Easy Airport Outfits

Updated: Jan 7

For me, the holiday starts way before the plane touches down. When I have finally got my last minute packing done and my alarm goes off at ridiculous o’clock... that is when it begins!

It can be tricky knowing what to travel in as it can depend on where you are going and how long you are flying for, but my absolute top tip is always layering! Now the vibe you choose is entirely up to you, go for the sporty style to ‘Model off Duty’ or just something cute and casual? Let me explain...

Sporty style

This is a typical ‘go to’ for me. It is also my occasional *need to leave the house for errands but can’t be bothered to properly get ready* look. All you need is a cute cycling short or leggings & T-shirt co-ord. (Note. Cycling shorts can be worn under leggings if you are starting somewhere cool and landing somewhere hot). Then add pair of trainers an oversized hoodie and grab your fave sunnies and a cute cross body. A cap is also a good option for if you can't be bothered to do your hair but just remember you will need to take this off at security.

Model off Duty

Disclaimer – You DO NOT have to be a model to rock this look! However do channel your inner Kendall Jenner for this vibe. Start with an oversized blazer layered over a hoodie and t-shirt, paired with either leggings or jeans. I am not a huge fan of travelling in jeans unless I am on a short haul or for work. Add a pair of classic white trainers, accessories with sunglasses and a shoulder bag and you are ready to roll.

Cute & Casual

Think stepping off the plane but heading straight to lunch. I would start with a maxi or midi dress, a denim jacket and a pair of sandals. Personally I'd avoid a jumpsuit as this can be a faff... Tip: I would also pack some socks in your bag (if your circulation is as terrible as mine) for when the air con kicks in.
